Some Sunday Schools start the new year in June, some in August, and some in September. That means that the new Sunday School year is upon us or right around the corner. The new year is filled with great potential. Use this checklist to ensure the decisions you make now lead to the best year ever!
As you prepare to make it a great year, gather your class team to review this new year checklist. Then seek to accomplish as many items on the list as possible before the new year begins. Add a date for when you plan to complete the item. Write down the person’s name who has agreed to take responsibility for the item. Then check off items when they are finished.

With help, this list won’t take much time. If you schedule one or two items on this list each week, you and the team will develop stronger relationships as you carry out these important tasks. Another way is to assign list items according to interests, passions, or job. Then check on progress from time to time.
What would you add to this checklist? Press comments and share your thoughts. Keep in mind that the year will likely be even greater if you enlist a team to accomplish the items on this list. Pray. Start well. Make it a great year. Make disciples. Be revolutionary!
